Why is there a 'not secure' Warning on my website?

Discover How to Protect Your Business and Your Customers From Cyber Criminals ... While Simultaneously Giving Your Site a Boost in Search Rankings!

Website Security is Critical for The Future of Your Business.

Why Should This Matter to You?

In the early days, the internet was used mainly to communicate information. As time went on, buying and selling on the web became more common. This meant that people were sending sensitive and confidential information across the web, which then gave criminals the opportunity to steal that information.

Identity theft, stolen credit card numbers, stolen logins

-- these and other cyber crimes have become commonplace.

If you want to stay in business, you must protect your visitors and your customers by making sure that your website is completely secure.

Google is leading the fight to get all websites to add security.

As of October, Google Chrome will now display a Not secure warning on websites without valid security. If your website says Not secure, you will lose customers to your competition.

Each minute that you delay getting this resolved could be causing you to lose another potential client. Contact us today and let us help you solve this issue by tomorrow!

SSL F.A.Q.'s

Yes, On approximately January 31st of 2016, version 56 of the Chrome web browser was be released. There was a significant change in the way it displays websites that are not using HTTPS, also known as SSL. This change may confuse your site visitors or surprise you if you are not expecting it.

With its recent announcement, earlier this year, Google will flag ALL the unencrypted internet by the end of 2017.

Google will flag 2/3rd of the web as unsafe.

This means if your website doesn’t have an SSL, it will display a ‘Not Secure’ in the URL bar.

Any page on your website that is non-HTTPS & has a password form or credit card field will be labeled as “Not secure” in the location bar by Google Chrome.

This includes your WP login page.

Visitors could also interpret the message to mean that your site has some underlying OTHER security issue.

Having images on your site that are being pulled from 3rd party sites that are not secure then your site will not display the "Green Lock" icon in the address bar because the "unsecure" image is seen as a vulnerability by google. Although the rest of your site is secure when your SSL is installed.
